Mempro™ Virus-like Particles (VLPs) Production in Insect Cells System
Creative Biostructure has built a comprehensive and advanced platform to offer custom Mempro™ Virus-like Particles (VLPs) production services. Our excellent research team has rich experience in VLPs production through these years, making Creative Biostructure the expert in this field. We promise you the best services and high-quality products.
VLPs has shown great potential for various applications including vaccine design in recent years. The appropriate selection of the expression systems plays a crucial part in VLPs production. Creative Biostructure has developed a series expression systems to produce active VLPs with proper folding and assembly, and Mempro™ Virus-like Particles (VLPs) production in insect cells system is widely used.

Insect cells system has the following advantages such as the rapid growth ratio, large scale production, and the ability of post-translational modification similar to mammalian cells system. The major limitation of insect cells system is the possibility of the enveloped baculovirus particles contamination. We have already developed non-replicative baculovirus to solve this problem and tested other stable insect cells for VLPs production, including silkworm expression systems which were efficiently applied to produce VLPs and modify the surface of VLPs as a cheap alternative. We also provide two strategies for yield of VLPs which have more than one structural protein, one is coinfection, the other one is coexpression. Insect cells system can produce VLPs with high complexity while the production yield is not that high. Creative Biostructure has modified the baculoviruses to facilitate expression of the foreign viral protein in VLPs production.
Other expression systems such as bacterial cells system, yeast cells system, mammalian cells system, and plant cells system are also available for VLPs production. Our Mempro™ virus-like particles (VLPs) platform provide VLPs services aimed at the production, application, characterization and functionalization strategies.
