Inquiry

The exosome tracking service can monitor and visualize the dynamic distribution and function of exosomes in vivo. With our extensive experience in exosome projects, Creative Biostructure can assist customers in gaining a deep understanding of the mechanisms of exosomes in biological processes and provide essential support for their clinical applications.

What is Exosome Tracking?

Exosomes are small vesicles secreted by cells, with a diameter of 30-150 nm, and are found in various cells and natural body fluids. Exosomes, characterized by nanometer size and high specificity, can transport proteins, lipids, DNA, and RNA. They participate in intercellular communication, exhibit various biological functions, and form a new intercellular information transmission system. Exosomes significantly influence the physiological state of cells and are closely related to the occurrence and progression of various diseases.

Exosomes act as a communication bridge between cells, making exosome tracking essential for real-time monitoring of the biological behavior of exosomes both in vivo and in vitro. Visualizing the dynamic distribution of exosomes after binding to receptor cells and entering the interior of the receptor cells is crucial for uncovering the mechanisms behind exosome-related biological functions. Research on exosome function typically involves observing the uptake of exosomes by recipient cells or their arrival at target tissues and organs. Subsequent detection determines whether corresponding phenotypic indicators change in the recipient cells, tissues, or organs. Therefore, labeling and tracking exosomes constitute basic and key steps in studying their function. Exosome tracers play a pivotal role in basic scientific research on biological functions and clinical effects, extending to applications in drug research, gene therapy, and tumor metastasis research.

What Can We Offer?

Creative Biostructure boasts rich experience in exosome characterization projects and offers various exosome imaging and tracking methods, including magnetic imaging, computed tomography, nuclear imaging, nanoparticles, fluorescence imaging, bioluminescence imaging, etc.

  • Fluorescence Imaging Exosome Tracking Method

Optical imaging, a popular technique in molecular and cell biology, utilizes analytes labeled with fluorescent probes that emit signals upon excitation. Creative Biostructure selects suitable fluorescent dyes according to customer needs or customizes them for exosome labeling. After labeling, we provide observation methods like fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and confocal microscopy to study exosome distribution and dynamic changes. Additionally, we can quantitatively analyze the intensity or quantity of fluorescent signals to evaluate exosome role and function in vivo.

  • Bioluminescence Imaging Exosome Tracking Method

Bioluminescence imaging (BLI) does not require an excitation source but relies on the reaction of substrates with ATP and Mg2+ or oxygen to emit light. BLI is suitable for exosome tracking, providing sensitive and reliable data on the processes involving exosomes. Creative Biostructure offers various optional markings, which can be customized based on customer requirements.

  • Nanoparticle Exosome Tracking Method

The Brownian motion rate of nanoparticles in a solution is related to their size, and by tracking individual nanoparticle movement over time, the software can calculate their diameters. Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) technology can be simpler, better ensure the original state of exosomes, detect faster, and measure particle size distribution in polydisperse samples. Creative Biostructure provides nanoparticle tracking analysis services and exosome characterization services for customers.

  • Other Exosome Tracking Method

Creative Biostructure also offers a variety of other exosome tracking methods, including photoacoustic imaging (PAI), nuclear imaging, computed tomography, magnetic imaging, etc.
