| Product Overview | Daunorubicin HCl (Daunomycin, RP 13057, Rubidomycin) inhibits both DNA and RNA synthesis and inhibits DNA synthesis with Ki of 0.02 ?M in a cell-free assay. Daunorubicin is a topoisomerase II inhibitor that induces apoptosis. Vincristine sulfate (NSC-67574, Leurocristine, Oncovin, 22-Oxovincaleukoblastine) is an inhibitor of polymerization of microtubules by binding to tubulin with IC50 of 32 ?M in a cell-free assay. Vincristine sulfate induces apoptosis. This product is a PEG modified pre-formulated liposome with daunorubicin HCl and vincristine sulfate at a 10/1 (mol/mol) ratio loaded. The liposomes are useful for the study of ratiometric dosing with chemotherapeutic agents in preclinical models of cancer, suitable for use in vitro or in vivo studies. The lipid composition is HSPC/Chol/DSPE-mPEG2000 (56.2/38.5/5.3, mol/mol). |
